NEW! Moto Camp with Vicki Golden

Here’s everything you need to know…

We’re beyond stoked to be bringing Over And Out to the west coast for the first time, but even more stoked that it’s in partnership with one of the most badass female riders on the planet, Vicki Golden!

If you’re a motocross rider, trail rider, WORCS or Hare and Hound-style racer, or a newbie to all of the above, this event is for YOU!

ABOUT VICKI

Vicki Golden is essentially the most prolific female moto rider ever! She isn’t just “good for a female”, she’s broken records and performed feats that no rider has, male or female. A quick rundown of Vicki’s riding accomplishments includes: winning Loretta Lynn's AMA Women's Amateur Championship at age 16, being a 3-time consecutive X-Games gold medalist, and the first woman to qualify for Monster Energy Supercross night program, and having ridden a motorcycle through 13 plywood firewalls, breaking a 12-year-old world record and achieving a feat that even renowned stuntman Evel Knievel couldn’t complete.

Vicki came to ride with us at Over And Out last summer, and to watch her ride in person is astonishing. When Vicki rode, the whole event came to stand still just to watch her. When she spoke the exact same thing happened, and our riders and staff alike were captivated by her words of advice and encouragement was much as we were by her speed and command of the bike. We’re SO excited to ride with her again!

If you haven’t seen this video about Vicki by Bell Helmets, definitely give it a watch…

About The Venue

We’re taking over a rad spot located just 2 hours north of LA, seated amidst rolling green hills with multiple pristinely groomed tracks laid out across the hillsides, and surrounded by miles of orange groves.

Known as American MX, this moto “dreamland” belongs to Supercross racer Jett Reynolds’ family, and has a variety of soil: some clay, some loom, some sand, a good mix of dirt plus the aforementioned rolling hills, reminiscent of European tracks.

The terrain and elevation changes make for some pretty fun riding. We’ll be using the site’s flat track, junior mx track, GP style track, off-road track and more, providing something for all levels - and all types - of riders.

This event is not just for Motocross riders! OAO events are about bringing together riders from different disciplines.

All off-road riding disciplines benefit from proper development and training of core skills like proper body position, managing speed, turning techniques, and approaches toward jumps/obstacles. And repetition is KEY.

There’s no better way to dial in and improve technique than with a weekend of training and repetition on various terrain options (not to mention an insane amount of encouragement, positivity and FUN!).

So, if you’re a trail rider, WORCS or Hare and Hound-style racer, Motocross rider, or a newbie to all of the above, this event is for YOU!

Travel and Camping

If you’re not from the area, you can easily get there with a flight to LAX or Bakersfield, and a rental car, van or RV. You can also find hotels or Air BnB’s in nearby Bakersfield if not closer.

The camping area is massive, and camping is included with the single ticket price - no matter what size vehicle you bring. RVs must be self-contained, there are no hookups. The site will have potties and hand-washing stations, serviced and kept clean.

Looking to bring your bike from the East Coast?? We’ve got a transport option shared to the blog!
